This Legal Policy outlines the terms, conditions, and limitations of services provided by Balanced Oasis LLC, a spa business. By scheduling or receiving services from us, you acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined below.

 

1. Professional Services Disclaimer

All massage therapy services are intended for relaxation, stress reduction, and therapeutic purposes only. Our services are not a substitute for medical care, diagnosis, or treatment. We do not prescribe medication or perform any invasive procedures.

Always consult your physician or qualified healthcare provider for any medical conditions before receiving massage therapy.

 

2. Mobile Service Terms

As a mobile service, we travel to clients’ homes, offices, or other approved locations. By booking a session, you agree to:

  • Provide a clean, safe, and private space for the massage

  • Allow the therapist to set up and sanitize equipment

  • Notify us in advance of any pets, access issues, or parking restrictions

We reserve the right to decline or end a session at any time if the location is unsafe or inappropriate, with or without refund.

 

3. Health & Medical Information

Clients must disclose any medical conditions, injuries, or contraindications prior to treatment. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Recent surgeries

  • Pregnancy

  • Heart conditions

  • Skin disorders or infections

  • Allergies or sensitivities (e.g. oils, scents, latex)

Failure to disclose relevant health information may result in treatment being withheld or terminated, and we are not liable for any complications resulting from nondisclosure.

 

4. Informed Consent

By receiving our services, you acknowledge:

  • You have provided accurate health information

  • You understand the nature of the massage techniques being used

  • You consent to physical contact within the scope of professional massage therapy

 

5. Boundaries & Conduct

We maintain strict professional boundaries at all times. Any inappropriate behavior, suggestive remarks, or misconduct will result in immediate termination of the session and possible reporting to authorities. Full payment will still be required.

Clients must be fully dressed while the therapist is setting up or packing down. Proper draping will be used during the session to ensure modesty and comfort.

 

6. Cancellation & Refund Policy

  • 24-hour notice is required for cancellations or rescheduling

  • Cancellations within 24 hours may result in a 50% charge

  • No-shows or cancellations upon arrival are non-refundable

  • If the therapist is unable to complete a session due to safety or client conduct, payment is still due in full

 

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Balanced Oasis LLC or contractors are not liable for:

  • Injuries sustained during or after massage therapy services

  • Aggravation of existing conditions

  • Client’s failure to follow aftercare recommendations

You agree to hold us harmless from any claims, losses, or liabilities arising from your participation in our services.

 

8. Licensing and Insurance

Our therapists are certified and licensed in accordance with local/state/provincial regulations. Proof of professional liability insurance is available upon request.

 

9. Privacy and Confidentiality

All client information is kept confidential and used only for treatment and administrative purposes. We comply with applicable data protection laws. For more details, see Privacy Policy.

 

10. Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to modify this Legal Policy at any time. Updates will be posted on our website and effective immediately upon publication.
